I’m Not Certain the Soul Sister WAS Back…

Working on it though!  Still figuring a lot of stuff out.  Listened to this Brandi Carlile song and it sort of resonated with my feelings on divorce and what that’s been like:

“I am a sturdy soul
And there ain’t no shame
In lying down in the bed you made
Can you fight the urge to run for another day?
You might make it further if you learn to stay”

Going forward, I would like to warn that my posts will likely be gramatically incorrect and poorly written.  I maimed my Right arm and am going at this one handed.  Not my favorite, but sometimes the universe forces you to take old Leftie out for a spin without so much as an  explanation why!  So that’s my new situation, and I’m trying to be at least a little sporting about it despite the deep consternation I have for my lot in life right about now!

And since I’m all over the map on this post, here are some weekend updates:

The dreaded elbow, and learning to perform activities of daily living with said elbow:

Mike Spencer regaling me for ~30min enroute from Kenya to Bozeman (happy!)

Dewce successfully, albeit temporarily, drowning my sorrows away

SLC trail running/walking

So I’ll keep the updates coming as I continue to navigate through heartache and bonebreak until the soul sister is more convincingly and durably back!
